The Script took 3 days to complete, it was quite a difficult thing to do because Me and Tom (Camera) had to work together to make the storyboard match the script; even with working together there were still some parts that didn't match but we can work around them.
After discussing with the group what the film is going to be about, Translating that into a script was difficult because i had to do all of the dialogue myself, it was like writing a story without much thought. In the end it came out okay, i'mpleased with it and i think it's actually quite a good story. I just hope it's long enough.

Final Bomb Sequence And Special Effects
The final section of the Bomb Sequence was to use special effects to 'Blow Up' Long Road. We were given some explosion animations and some explosion sounds to use. The process is actually quite simple. because it was just mainly drag, drop and resize, except the green screen one which i had to enable Green Screen and select the layer which removed the green from the image to make it blend with the background video.
I am proud of my final video because it is quite perfect, it's been gone through thoroughly to make sure there are no imperfections or stupid mistakes. It is quite comedic which is the genre i was aiming for. I believe that it would have been better if we had full control over the content but to still make it the same style.

Bomb Sequence
To start off our new task of creating a Bomb Sequence about 4 characters, A boss, A Person, A Operator and an Agent, where there is a bomb which is planted within the college and it's the agent's job to disarm it.The first scene is with the Boss and the Person and the Boss phones the Person to request that they meet them in a certain room to discuss plans. I was away for the recording of this scene, but i still have the footage and i have edited it myself.

The second scene is in the room that the Boss requested the person to go to, this is the first dialouge scene where both characters are in the same room talking opposite eachothe
To record this scene we used the 180 degree rule which is a basic guideline regarding the on-screen spatial relationship between a character and another character. An imaginary line connects the characters and by keeping the camera on one side of this line for every shot in the scene, the first character will always be frame right of the second character, who is then always frame left of the first. If the camera passes over the axis, it is called crossing the line

The Third and final scene of the Bomb Sequence is the most important because it involves the Operator and the Agent, this scene is when the Operator detects the bomb and sends the Agent on a mission to disarm it before it blows the college up. This is where i came in because i was the agent. The operator is in an office on the phone to the agent who is on the toilet giving him the instructions. Once the phone convosation is over the Agent rushes out of the toilet into the carpark where the bomb is located, but on the way does some action running down stairs and across hallways to get to the bomb as quickly as possible. Once the agent has found the bomb, the Phone convasation starts up again with the operator asking if the bomb has been found and tells the agent to cut the black wire. But unfortunatly it's the wrong one and the college and the agent get blown up.

Horror Stills
In this project, we were set the task of going out in groups and taking pictures of horror scenes that we had planned, but we had to set it around the different shot types; Establishing, Close Up, Extreme Close Up, Long Shot, Over Shoulder, Point Of View, High Shot, Low Shot, Canted Angle and Mid Shot.
Once we had our photos, the next task was to edit them in Photoshop so we could add effects to the image, Example: Blood, Swords, B&W.
Then we Opened up a Final Cut project that had already been made for us, but putting our images into it. We had a ready made folder which contained many different audio files for us to use. We put them all together, labeling the different shot types. To make a Horror Still Movie.
I think mine went quite well, although i missed out a couple of the shot types because we didn't have time to do them.

New York Final Cut Training
This is our first project in Final Cut as a training exercise. We were given a Final Cut Project file with many different videos of new york in and our job was to edit the video using the skills that we had learnt and to experiment with the software.
The main skill that we used in this was the Fade tool, which allowed us to blend the videos together for a more smoother and professional look. This was done by using the rubber bands which signify the visibility of the video, so by using the pen tool you can make selection points which you can drag to set the fade of the video. If there is a video on top of the video you are fading, you can create a crossfade which blends the 2 videos together so it looks like they are together.

Animated IDENT
2P1 Curtis - IDENT from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.
This is the animated version of my logo, this will go at the beginning of every video i make.
This was created in Final Cut.
To begin with i had to separate all of the layers into different files to they can be animated individually, In Final Cut i didn't do much apart from make the "Films" flash in like a camera shot. I got the effect from a free Final Cut package called 'Too Much Too Soon'.
Target Audience
‘Audience’ is the people who watch, read, buy, listen to, or use a media product.
This diagram is a way of showing all of the brands that i am a target audience of because i like their products and if they were to bring out any new products, i would be interested in them.
Looking at the ‘target audience’ for a media product means looking at those people that its makers think will watch/buy/use it.
Gathering the information about the Audiences is a good way to maximize the satisfaction that is created when a new product is released.

Personal Tests
After many attempts i finally got through to finishing this test. I don't agree with my result, I'm nothing like a scene kid. I also don't think this test was very accurate, although the questions were very thorough there didn't seem to be much of a choice of what to choose.
This is a very weird test, the questions made absolutely no sense at all and even the answers were totally strange. My result also made no sense. Strange!

Final Logo
This is my final logo.
I'm very happy with it.
I 'stole' the idea off one my of friends who is an expert at photoshop, i liked his design to i tried my best at making it like his. I think i did very well.
The camera is 'hand' drawn using lines and squares, it took me a while but i like it very much.
The 'C' inside the camera is a good feature to it because it blends the whole logo together instead of making the camera a separate part.
The font name is called 'Lumpin'
My original design was to have the camera seperate from the "C Films".

Photoshop Training
This is using different fonts on my production name. The font's are totally random but in my final logo i used the top one.
This is just generally messing around with different brushes, there is no reason in it, just totally random
Once again, Totally random shapes.

Club Flyer
My Club Flier is a speaker with the DJ DeadMau5 faded into it.
I originally wanted to have a human head with headphone covering the speaker but i failed to find such an image.
The music genre is Hardcore, i chose it because i'm a massive Hardcore fan.
All the DJ's that i've listed on the flyer are Hardcore DJ's, except DeadMau5 but i made sense to include him as he is on the speaker.
The picture of the speaker i got from Flickr and the Deadmau5 picture is from Google Images

Earth And Eye
Making a picture of the Earth go into an Eye was quite an easy task, the tools used were actually very simple.
To start off with i combined the 2 two pictures into one so it's only a single photo, Then i used the 'magic wand tool' to select the black space that was surrounding the Earth so it's left with just the Earth on it's own. Once i done that i centered the Earth over the eye then set the blend setting to 'Overlay'. It's Done.
